TricorBraun Designs Dual Product Package

TricorBraun Design & Engineering won both an AmeriStar award AND a WorldStar award by creating a package design (patent pending) that not only eliminates production headaches for Avlon, but assists the salons and home users in easier storage and proper use of the product.  The WorldStar award was chosen from 294 entries from 29 countries around the world and is sponsored by the World Packaging Organisation.
 

The complete package is supplied by TricorBraun Packaging Consultant Terri Sheppard, CPP.  It consists of a 4 lb. HDPE tub and a stock 4 oz HDPE cylinder bottle with a dispensing closer.
 

The concept greatly improves on the previous package in the following ways:

• Previous packaging required taping of the 4 oz bottle to the tub, which increased labor costs, slowed down filling times for the tub and was an awkward shape to ship.
• In the past, the Step 1 product in the small bottle would get misplaced from the Step 2 product in the tub, causing the stylist or home user difficulty in using the product.

TricorBraun has won an AmeriStar award each year for that past four years and a WorldStar award the past two years.
