New TricorBraun Patent Enhances Full-Sleeve Shrink Label Appearance

Shrink labels got a compelling look with an innovative TricorBraun design for molds. Contours are added to the bottle to give a three-dimensional appearance to the decoration printed on the full-sleeve shrink label.

“Initially, molds were created for caricaturized animal figures, and the bottle’s contours showcased the facial features, limbs and torso that are printed on the full-sleeve shrink label. However, this technique can be used for a variety of animate or inanimate shapes,” Craig Sawicki, executive vice president, TricorBraun, said.

TricorBraun (www.tricorbraun.com) is one of the world’s leading suppliers of packaging, and it has 34 offices in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Asia.
