Does this work for powders?

No, this pump is not suitable for powders. Airless lotion pumps are designed for dispensing liquids, creams, or gels, and powders will not dispense properly through the pump mechanism. For powder products, a sifter, shaker, or scoop-style closure is recommended instead.
