Finally a solution to my problemWhen we renovated our kitchen about 15 years ago, we included spice drawers next to the oven and cooktop for convenience. I quickly realized that the drawers did NOT accommodate any of the typical spice containers. So the drawers became home to all sorts of other kitchen things and I had to sacrifice an entire shelf in a cabinet to my spices. I have been searching a long time to find a solution and here it is! I purchased 60 of these glass jars and the matching lids and transferred the spices to these jars. Finally I can easily find what I need while cooking and I regained a full shelf of space in my kitchen.
