This 53-400 polypropylene (P/P) continuous thread closure is black in color, has a ribbed skirt, and a smooth (glossy) top. It includes an ISPE U10 plain (unprinted) liner.
The liner is a one piece foam backed heat induction foil innerseal. It will provide a welded seal to polyethylene (PE) containers, offering the consumer an indication of tampering (tamper evidency). The transmission rates for oxygen gas and moisture vapor are essentially zero.
