The Modern Round bottle style is known for the sloped shoulder and label indent panel. In PET resin, this bottle offers a good oxygen barrier, moisture barrier and fragrance barrier. In addition, the light amber color offers protection from ultraviolet (UV) light. Traditionally this bottle style was used for packaging pharmaceuticals, chemicals and automotive products, but the excellent clarity and surface gloss of PET resin definitely expands the possibilities. Please Note: Plastic amber bottles and jars are colored using pigments and come in a variety of shades from light amber to dark amber, which can be almost black. These variations of amber color provide levels of UV protection for light-sensitive products.
