This 83-400 continuous thread closure has a ribbed skirt, a matte (stipple) top, and a stack feature for packages being sold in a retail sales environment. It includes a pulp/vinyl (PV) liner. A PV liner is a good choice when chemical resistance is needed for packaging products such as mild acids, alkalis, solvents, alcohols, and water-based products.
Pulp and poly liners comprise two components: a thin polyvinyl film attached to a pulp material. They exhibit good chemical resistance, working well with both oil and water-based products.
